it always goes so fast and i can't believe it's over. here are a few of my favorite memories of the day....
abi made calvin turn off his light saying that santa wouldn't come if he was reading. he went right to sleep and then she was too excited to get herself to sleep. i went in to read the girls a story and they requested that i snuggle with them. it was my first best memory of the day - the girls fell asleep holding my hand with their christmas lights shining on their face....visions of sugarplums danced in their heads.....
abi requested a "real dog" for christmas and we were really worried she was going to be so disappointed when there was only an i-dog. she was really happy with santa's surprise and loved listening to her music and feed her electronic dog. someday she will get her wish.....
calvin could not have been more happy with his chemistry set and we spent many hours today combining all kinds of chemicals and creating several kinds of blue solutions - not sure what they are for but they have to sit overnight. he was totally kidding with his safety glasses but i couldn't resist capturing the super chemist....
we talked to every person in our family today and wished them a merry christmas. we miss you all so much. it is hard to be away from everyone but skype is awesome! so even though it was just our little family it felt so great to be together and enjoy each other every moment.

I'm happy in London, but being there with you would have been so fun! Having Abi read Santa's little secret, seeing Cal in his glasses, seeing Cal doing his little dance, Abi's robe and Ava being so shy were some of my highlights! Glad you had a great day. Miss you.
