three personalities

it amazes me how different each of my kids are. you have my oldest who is all boy and give him snow he will make snow balls. his sister miss grouchy pictured below is not amused...

she storms off to pout - which happens daily! it is like a switch being turned on and off. she can be the most sweet, kind, loving little lady and the next minute you are asking yourself what happened? usually we don't even know. i'm pretty sure she wasn't happy about having the snowball thrown at her. if you leave her alone she will be fine in a few minutes and be back to her happy self.

this one is all about snuggling and she decided she needed some time alone with me inside where it was warm with christmas lights a fire and what better than a bowl of crunch berries! i did get her out and i pulled them behind my car in the sled. i have way fun memories of doing that growing up in utah. we always had to find some off the beaten path road that wouldn't get plowed since they do a pretty good job of plowing in utah. idaho is a different story, we rarely get enough snow for them to even worry about plowing so we had a great time in our own little neighborhood. it is snowing again right now and it just makes me happy!

Thanks for posting these for me! I already told you what I thought of the pics, but once again you are amazing. I loved being pulled behind the car when we were little. Such a fun memory and so cool that you get to do it with your own kids. Not sure if it's all that safe, but its fun. :) Love ya

These pics are great Julie. The snow looks incredible. I wish just once it would snow here. I can relate to kids growing up and becoming their own individuals. Most of it is pretty neat to watch other times you just have to wonder, "Is this kid really mine?" haha. Have a great holiday and ENJOY your snow. I'm jealous :)

Hey Julie! This is Malissa from ballet. :-) Your blog is beautiful and your pictures are AMAZING! What an adorable family you have. Here are the family pics we had done at Camille Beckman:

I bet it would be pretty in the Spring. And I may be calling you in a few months for the kids' pictures. I can never have enough. :-)
P.S. I'm still working on loading the ballet video... it's super cute! If I can't figure it out, you could always come over here during the break for a little playdate so they can watch the video and practice together. Maybe your little ballerina could inspire my little ballerina to actually do the routine! haha :-)
