Somewhere in the craziness of the last few weeks this kid turned ten. He's not as excited to have his picture taken everyday but I did get a few in there and some he wouldn't be happy I shared. I was informed that some are only for the eyes of our family. :)
He amazes me with his wit, sweet spirit and love of reading. It is an amazing experience to try your best to raise a child. While I know those teen years are right around the corner I'm loving our stage of life and holding on dearly to it. I wish I could hold on tighter.
Despite being home bound with a tonsil sick sister we managed to make him a pretty fun cake and do few fun things. My Mom and Dad sent him the cutest card about being ten and one of them said to have everyone address you as "your x-cellence" so we did until he had to make his own bed.
Since he is pretty special and I want to kiss everyone of his freckles but I restrain myself because he's ten and that's not cool anymore. Here is my best photo of those freckles.

awww, i was hoping for another teeth shot! Love the freckles too. Great shot of his eyelashes. Coolest kid i know.
What?!? I don't believe it! I still remember him with his little backpack and his hat on and how he would refer to himself as "the sunbeam"...do you remember that? What a cute kid!!
