country life

I don't know if it is the dread of my oldest going to middle school next year or that all four of my kids keep spiraling farther and farther away from me as they grow older. But I keep feeling that I would love to snatch them all up and move us to a farm for one year. Homeschool, cows, chickens and of course horses. I don't know the first thing about any of these things but I would love to try. Matt says I wouldn't last one week and he's probably right.

So to say I was excited when Taylor invited me to her country home is putting it lightly. You know it's going to be good when you start with this...

I think it is the peace and simplicity that I long for, knowing full well that I am the one that creates the craziness of my life that I love. But to spend just one evening with Taylor and her family confirmed my dreams that someday I'm going to need to live on a farm...

Taylor is absolutely as kind and sweet as she is gorgeous. I loved her ideas and clothing and locations. I couldn't help squeal with delight at the images we were creating. This session was everything I had hoped...

I'm just wondering if you are laying down when taking that picture of her on the horse??? Love your angles. So artistic.
p.s. wore my black dress and got so many compliments. You were a great shopping partner! Miss you.

Thanks Pam and Amy!

And yes Jane I was laying down and didn't even think about the fact that it was a horse corral - luckily I picked a good spot :) oooh the black dress rocks! I miss you too -

Great job Julie! However, I may be partial to the subject...

I LOVE this session!! I love the farmy feel! I did a senior last year on her horse and I LOVED that girl. So real and so fun to spend time with. I love the field shots here, totally dreamy!
