It was a much anticipated birthday cake smashing and the kids had been talking about her birthday for weeks. My oldest daughter even wrote about it in her journal at school. They were pretty excited and before I could get one clean shot my hubby rubbed her face with frosting. So the messiness began... she wasn't quite sure what to think and didn't eat too much of it but she sure loved putting her feet in there and squishing it with her hands. The kids were laughing hysterically off to the side.
You can't turn one without the cake smashing right?! We cleaned her off and had brownie sundaes because that's what I wanted and everyone knows a one year old birthday party is all about me! :)
