newborn newness...

meet Adam... i promised i would show you more of this little man and so here i am fulfilling my promise. partly because i talked with my kids about making sure that when you make a promise you need to keep it and also because this little guy is so adorable, i couldn't help share more from his session.

some of you may not know this about me, but my brother is married to matt's sister. i assure you that it is all legal, and really fun to have a double marriage. this little baby lives across the street from my brother. since i was in utah just after he was born my sis-in-law jana hooked us up. jana is nothing short of getting it done. she amazes me at what she is able to accomplish. i tend to hold back and save some time to breathe in the day, but she just goes for it. jana is really good friends with this little boy's family and insisted that we get a photo shoot in for them. i'm so glad jana made it work in our busy day out of town because i love the realness of these images. going into homes and shooting a baby how they are is nothing short of heaven for me. maybe it is that newborn newness.

they had so many gorgeous antique tables all over, i picked this one with a mirror to get a few shots....

thanks julie for allowing us into your home and letting me play with your baby for a few minutes he is a dream. i hope you treasure every moment because i know it goes way too fast.
