Here is the first of hopefully many more photo walks. We met at a local candy shop called the Lollipop Stop. The owners were happy to let us raid their store and hopefully soon I can direct you to their upcoming website where our images will be featured.
My kids were the models and they were happy to do it for a little bribery. I think they all wanted the $40 sucker but only got to play with that one. Go figure my kids chose stuffed monkeys and an elastic gun from a candy shop.
We stepped outside when the store got busy to not get in the way. I love that my son was throwing berries at me while I was trying to take his picture. Boys!
For me this was about connecting with local photographers. I know there were several of you who didn't get to come. I will keep you posted on the next one! I feel so grateful to have met such wonderful people that understand the trials and inspiration of the photography world. We could have talked for hours and I'm grateful to have met such wonderful inspiring people. Check out some more images from that day from Pam and Amy.

Your kids are troopers for being the models. The colors are amazing. Don't know how you do it. i want that $40 sucker too!! I love the one of Ava on Pam's website in black and white. I agree I love that expression. Missing you guys already.

Hey I just realized that I have never commented on your blog. Anyhow, did you ever see in one of my comments on the forum or something that we have common friends. Tiffany Ganem was my roommate in college and I have taken pictures of Holly's kids. I may just ask you someday how you get your pictures so big on your blog. someday. maybe. when I stop being lazy.
