I know things did not go as smooth as I would have liked with sickness in our family and I know for sure that we would have not made it without these two angels and many more that came with visits, phone calls, meals, and on and on....
Jane came the day after Grace was born and took care of me in the hospital and all of us for the weekend. She was amazing with the kids, dinner and cleaning. I felt like I was in such a fog and she just kept everything going. I LOVED the blanket that she made for me and I'm still in awe by her mad sewing skills. And what did she get in return? We sent her home with the flu! How nice of us right!
Matt's Mom was also amazing and came to care for us this past week. The kids absolutely love having her here and she just took over until I could get on my feet. I kept thinking I don't think I can let her go home. We sent her home with a cold - so nice of us right?!
And Mom I've been holding Grace extra long for you. I'm trying to treasure every moment knowing that you would give anything to be here too. I love all the extraordinary women in my life!

I wish I could have stayed for weeks, even with the flu! I am so grateful for that first night in the hospital. It is a moment I will forever cherish. Beautiful pictures. That white snuggly is going to be perfect for lots of pictures.
