My Month

I haven't posted about my little family in a long time and since May is the CRAZIEST month with lots going on here is one super long post - are you ready for 30 (make that 31)pictures of our life?If you are like me your days are filled with soccer games, school programs, recitals, pinewood derby, field trips and trying to catch a few moments of peace.

My oldest has had a great month with lots of fun things at school, soccer, and the most eventful was winning the pinewood derby.

These two spent hours and hours learning about potential energy, friction, and aerodynamics. It really was a fun process for both of them and the "black stealth" as it was named- ended up being fast.

The same night as the pinewood derby was his championship soccer game. We were running like crazy that night. The Blue Flames were undefeated and met up with the only team they tied in regular season play for the championship game. It was so close and so much fun - they ended up loosing by one point and I was so happy when my boy walked away saying, "that was so much fun!" Here are a few highlights from the season. These boys have played together for several years and really have a great time - even with his Dad as coach!

Our is the one behind - supporting!  He played in the mid - field this season and loved running his little heart out!

He had a really great throw in this season and several goals as well as many assists. They really learned to play as a team this year - so fun!

On to the next child and her lovely little life.  She amazes me with how happy she is and so full of life.  First she had her music recital at school and it brought tears to my eyes as she sang her little heart out about being a first grader.  I can't tell you how much I'm going to miss having her home -  I love half day kindergarten!

And her soccer highlights.  I loved, loved, loved that every picture of her has her dimples.  She was so much fun to watch.  She plays just like her personality - dedicated, fast, and independent.

PhotobucketThese girls have played together for several years now too and so they don't hesitate - she even took it away from her team mate - aggressive little soccer player...

And last but not least is small fry's ballet recital. The Wizard of Oz was lacking one crow - bless her heart one of the girls in the class was afraid of the scarecrow - I didn't know if ours would make it out there or not. It was a really long day with the dress rehearsal and then the performance. Our little crow screamed and cried when I said it was time to get ready to go on stage for the final performance and told me " I already did it once!" She was really afraid of all the people in the audience. I think last time she was a little oblivious but this time she was scared. I sent our friends daughter Allie - an older ballerina - to talk her into it. We sat in the audience and wondered if she would come out on stage. I was amazed to see her walk out and do her dance after she was so afraid. I loved how everyone is doing their own thing. There was a ton of bribery so we had to live up to it and take her out to ice cream and of course flowers.

Hi Julie! I don't know if you remember me, I had Abi in nursery years ago! I can't believe how much she's grown! I was looking through my pictures and found some that I took of her when she was in nursery. She was so sweet, I really enjoyed teaching her! Let me know you email address and I can email you the pictures if you'd like.

You are very talented! I enjoyed looking through your pictures!
