I wish I could blame camping in the backyard on the weather but that is how we camp! We took the kids to the local fishing pond that is stocked with trout and caught a fish. We came home and grilled it on the grill while setting up our camp. They were thrilled to be "camping"...My favorite part was watching Matt try to sleep with a darling three year old poking her finger in his ear and mouth with all of us giggling. It was only eleven at night! We lasted all of 1 hour in the tent when it started raining and we hauled everyone in for a nice nights sleep in their own beds. We did go back out in the morning and make a great dutch oven breakfast over our fire pit. Anything with heavy cream, cinnamon, and brown sugar called monkey bread ought to be a food group!

Always a party at the Freemans! Looks fun!
Good luck on your race!
That is my kind of camping! That picture is DARLING!
So fun! And such a good idea! We may have to try that one of these days.
And thanks for the helmet offer...I think we're set though. We need to get together again. I think my kids are FINALLY over whatever that nasty thing was.
You need to print this on canvas, it is the cutest picture EVER. Not even kidding, they are the cutest kids. Love it!
