So I am really going to try to take a picture a day this year. So far I love it but since we only have 18 days into the year we will see how it goes. I'm taking a picture of whatever I want each day. Sometimes it will be my kids, my dog, my favorite things, hopefully some self portraits that I might dare share. But here are a few of my favorites and if you want to see more click on my flickr and you can also check out my fabulous photography friends that are on there as well. We did this last year and I knew I wasn't in a place to commit fully so I only made it to about 100 or so pictures. But this year I might just do it. So here are a few from this year. I'm too lazy to put them all over here :)
We had puppy classes last night and someone was the only puppy that wouldn't come when she was called, wouldn't walk on a leash and ended up having to stay after class. I felt like such a failure :(
It is raining again today and a little dreary but I do love the drops on the branches. Lemonade from lemons people, I'm trying here.
Friends. I was thinking about how food reminds me of certain friends. I collect recipes and usually from good friends. Like pears are Nancy. My good friend who happens to be vegetarian and always brought pears and cheese for an appetizer to any get together. The same that forgave me when I mistakenly thought Cream of Broccoli soup made with cream of chicken soup was vegetarian. She quietly gagged it down. I miss her and wish she still lived down the street. Someday I'm going to make it to Bozeman to say hello again.
My baby loves "those" as she calls them. She can spend hours lining them up over and over and I'm amazed that at 19 months they are always matched up with the smallest and the tallest. The poor kid doesn't stand a chance with two OCD parents.
Walking her big sister to the bus is a big deal to this kid, needs her coat, boots, and backpack and today I was happy to drag along three umbrellas and a camera. The dog didn't make this walk today.
Oh it's ballet recital time again and they got their new costumes today. I can't decide if it is more fun to dance yourself or watch this one. she absolutely glows!!
My oldest is all about games lately and will gladly cream anyone in risk or settlers of catan. No one wants to play him anymore he is too good at world domination.
Would that be bad if I just left them there?

I love these! And I'm so glad you're feeling good about it! I'm loving it this year. Last year I think I was too strict about themes and made it too hard on myself. Basically this year I have given myself the same freedom you have. Shoot what I want. :)

Julie have I ever mentioned how totally freakin awesome your pictures are? SERIOUSLY you are amazing. I love seeing your depiction of life through photography.... your not such a bad writer either. I miss you!
