My Cousin {Boise Family Photographer}

We used to play at Grandma's when we were little. Matt, my sister Jane and I had grand adventures in her orchard and riding the big white elephant statue in the front yard. I remember funny things like playing on the fake green grass porch that was between her garage and house. When we got older I remember playing countless games of rack-o and Christmas bingo with all the cousins. Then when Grandma got sick she moved in with Matt's family. I used to go play the piano for her, her favorite was "How Great Thou Art." I always loved Matt's race car bed his Dad had made and the playhouse in the backyard.

We had not seen each other in years and I met his darling little boy when he was just a little baby at a family reunion. I took a picture of his little boy and sent it to them later as my baby gift. Fast forward several years I get a call from his sweet wife to ask about taking their family portraits. She informs me that they would like to find a weekend to drive down from Washington to have me take their portraits. I was flattered and to be honest a little nervous that their trip would be worth the effort. I told my husband what we had scheduled and his sweet response was "call back and have them stay here" So I did, and they did, and it was such a fun night to be with their family. So here you go, meet my cousin Matt and his family.

I hope your trip was worth it!!!

Oh so cute! Love seeing Matt. I can't even remember how long it's been since I've seen him. So many great memories growing up with him. Darling kids and in my opinion well worth the trip!
