I am a huge fan of finding a fabulous color palette for family portraits and look in your closets for what fits. Or shop with a color palette in mind - more fun I know! So here are two color palette I have been thinking would be so fun to try for family portraits.
It is a cool color palette with shades of blue, green and either touches of white or off-white and some good old jeans. You could even add in grey or black for some contrast.
Or for a more deep bold fall color scheme. Here is another idea! Deep bold fall colors think Native American Corn. Jewel tones of purple with accents of gold perhaps in jewelry and touches of deep blue.
I just checked one of my favorite photographers blog and she had a client that used this last color scheme. Go check out her work she is seriously amazing. So funny that we went to high school together, have kids almost exactly the same ages, we are photographers, and our baby's were due on the same day. Maybe our kids will have to get married or something! (She has all boys)
