This is just for me to remember the great mothers day my family helped me to have. So if you want to skip my ramblings just enjoy the beautiful flower my neighbor was kind enough to grow. (to my neighbor I'm sorry it is no longer growing but my darling son decided it would make a great mothers day present!) My mothers day was filled with sweet small thoughtful things. A son that picked up trash for me after primary, his darling self portrait magnet that came home from second grade. He made me breakfast with Dad and has given me more hugs and praise in one day than any mom deserves. My awesome 5 year old was kind enough to serenade me with her new recorder while I was waiting for breakfast. ( My son said, "that's entertainment") She made a great hand painted bird house at preschool and was thrilled to give me a wrapped up snickers bar (my favorite!). I'm grateful to watch my three year old struggle with putting on her pj's and the excitement in her face when she figures out one leg goes in each hole! Countless notes and a sweet card from my hubby along with snickers ice cream bars (they were even wrapped!) make me ever grateful for the small things in my life that bring me happiness.
